My Game Table Desgin.

I am using Google Sketchup which is a free program you download HERE
I have posted the sketchup file (RAR) or here Uncompressed if you want to download it as well.
I have been working on a new design for a modular gaming table. I mainly use Hirst Arts Castlemolds for dungeons, buildings and other wise. The requirements I had for the design was I wanted it to be modular, and have the ability to multiple levels, have some storage space, and not to beyond my ability to build.
They outside “box” boards are 2x8 so that could give me about 2 sub levels if I use 3 inch level heights. They I will get the levels is make some post that 7 inch, 4inch, and 1 inch talk. I use these as the post to hold up the surface. With each surface I will have to make a foam board to cover the hole from the level dropping down but hat shouldn’t be too bad. I plan on use ½ foam board for the surface but I am not sure if that will be strong enough. If not I could use ¼ to ½ inch plywood and that will work.
I have included all the dimensions and lumber counts so if you like the idea you could build one of your own. Hopefully when I get time I can physical build it and see how it works out.
